机油冷却器的作用是冷却光滑油,坚持油温在正常工作范围之内。在大功率的强化发起机上,由于热负荷大,有必要装用机油冷却器。发起机工作时,由于机油粘度随温度升高而变稀,下降了光滑才能。因而,有些发起机装用了机油冷却器,其作用是下降机油温度,坚持光滑油必定的粘度。机油冷却器安置在光滑系循环油路。
机油冷却器的品种
1)风冷式机油冷却器
风冷式机油冷却器的芯子由许多冷却管和冷却板组成,在轿车行进时,使用轿车迎面风冷却热的机油冷却器芯子。风冷式机油 冷却器要求周围通风好,在一般轿车上很难确保有满足的通风空间,一般很少选用。在赛车上八成选用这种冷却器,由于赛车速度高,冷却风量大。
2)水冷式机油冷却器
机油 冷却器置于冷却水路中,使用冷却水的温度来操控光滑油的温度。当光滑油温度高时,靠冷却水降温,发起机启动时,则从冷却水吸收热量使光滑油敏捷进步温度。机油 冷却器由铝合金铸成的壳体、前盖、后盖和铜芯管组成。为了加强冷却,管外又套装了散热片。冷却水在管外活动,光滑油在管内活动,两者进行热量交流。也有使油在管外活动,而水在管内活动的结构。
