斜交轮胎(diagonal tire ;bias tire )又称普通结构轮胎,代号“B”。指胎体帘布层和缓冲层相邻层帘线交叉,且与胎面中心线呈小于90℃角排列的充气轮胎。这种轮胎纵向刚性好,适于在普通路面中速行驶。

斜交轮胎可以简单的称之为尼龙胎。这个概念是相对于子午线轮胎即所谓的钢丝胎而言的。



斜交轮胎的胎体帘布层是由数层挂胶帘布组成,相邻的帘布层帘线角度相同,相互交叉排列,帘布层数一般为偶数,这样能使胎体帘布层负荷均匀分布。斜交轮胎胎冠帘线角度通常取48度到55度之间,胎冠帘线角度是指帘线与胎冠中心垂直线的夹角。帘布层分为内帘布层和外帘布层两部分。内帘布层是胎体主要的骨架层,其特点是层数多,帘线密度较密,使胎体强度增大。外帘布层位于内帘布层与缓冲层之间起过度作用,又称之为胎体的辅助层,其特点是层数少,通常只有两层,帘线密度较内帘线稀疏,附胶量较多,捏着强度较高,缓冲层位于外帘布层与胎面胶之间,其结构由胶片或两层以上挂胶帘线组成,布层的上,下或中间加贴缓冲胶层。缓冲层帘布比外帘布层的密度稀疏,挂胶厚度较厚,帘线角度等于或稍大于帘布层帘线角度,相邻布层相互交叉排列,起宽度一般稍大或稍窄于胎冠宽度。通常载重轮胎的缓冲层采用挂胶帘布与胶片组合结构,轿车轮胎也可采用缓冲胶片作为缓冲层。
